Cover Up by Mumbai Police
The role of Mumbai Police has been very shady and controversial in Sushant Singh Rajput murder case. The procedural lapses and failure to follow standard operating procedures by the police has put a big question mark in their involvement in covering up the murder as suicidal/accidental death. Police or family didn't see the body hanging and based on the statements of servants and staff, the additional commissioner of Police, Dr Manoj Sharma declared it a suicide, even before the investigation into the suspicious death started. There was no doctor at the crime scene to declare Sushant death. The police allowed contamination of crime scene, unsupervised entry of many unknown/unidentified people inside the room, apartments and society. The height of body of Sushant was recorded as 5'10" instead of 6' to support the hanging narrative, even as teh ligature mark didn't match that of ligature. They claimed green bathrobe and green kurta was used by Sushant to hang himself and kept arranging these on bed to photograph/videograph them, instead of recording the actual and undisturbed crime scene. They hushed up the autopsy, without a permission from family and magistrate, to force Drs at Cooper hospital to conduct it around midnight of the same day. They allowed self proclaimed friend Sandeep Singh to bypass family even as his sister Meetu Singh was available and his two other sisters, Priyanka Singh, Neetu Singh and brother-in-law, IPS OP Singh arrived in Mumbai on 14th night.
